Not all people that have this disease may show signs of the infection but when symptoms do appear, they may take in a variety of forms, including the following:
• Diarrhea: may pass stool 3 to 8 times a day. The stools may be soft with specks of mucus and blood
• Bloody stools: may pass the stool at least 10-20 times a day – indication of chronic Amoebiasis.
• Abdominal pain
• Sudden weight loss
• Sbdominal cramps
• Intestinal gas
• Rectal pain during movement of bowel
