Chicken pox is a highly contagious illness. Chicken pox is rarely fatal. But it is more severe in adult males than in adult females or children. The indications of the onset of chicken pox include:
• Mild fever(less than 38°C)
• Body ache
• Sore throat
• Appearance of pink or red bumps commonly on face, scalp, neck, back and upper torso
• As the day passes, more bumps develop which eventually become more itchy and are filled with fluids(blisters)
• At this stage, other signs include sever fever, apetite loss, headache, coughing, aches and pains.
