Myth 5: Higher the SPF value of a sunscreen lotion, the better is its effectiveness

A high SPF value is not necessarily the better choice. If you have a chance to apply frequently, even a lesser SPF valued sunscreen can be chosen.

Myth 6: Olive oil prevents stretch marks

The power is not in the oil, it’s the right massaging technique that helps to get rid of stretch marks.

Myth 7: Chocolates and fried foods cause acne

Blame it on your gene, stress and hormones for acne. Treat yourself with chocolates.

Myth 8: Plucking out gray hair makes the hair grow faster and in more number

It is only the focus on white hair makes us feel that gray hair has increased in number and are growing rapidly.

Myth 9: If mother has a bad skin, so will their children

Skin type is not completely based on genes. A good care towards skin can give a beautiful skin.

Myth 10: Toothpaste can cure pimples

Toothpaste has some ingredients that help the pimple to dry and heals it quickly. But the disadvantage is that it can cause irritation to the skin.
