Diseases » Chronic fatigue

Chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) is a disorder characterized by unexplained, persistent, and debilitating fatigue. CFS also refers as the presence of fatigue for longer than six months. The fatigueness is so intense that even resting cannot help. This is known to worsen due to physical or mental activities. Chronic fatigue syndrome is more often in women than men, and is also more likely to be diagnosed in white. The number of people affected by CFS is unclear, partly because of difficulties in diagnosis.
