Yellow fever is an acute, non contagious infectious disease caused by a virus and transmitted by mosquito and characterized in severe cases by high fever and jaundice. Yellow fever disease of humans but research has reveled that it also affects monkeys and other animals. If infected individual move in populated area, they may be bitten by semi domestic species of mosquito, such as Aedesageypti, which lives close to humans and are the chief transmitting agents in case of epidemic of urban yellow fever.
