Stemetil and Zifi in pregnancy

Stemetil and Zifi in pregnancy

My wife is 3 months pregnant and has shown some positive readings for Typhoid ( O - 1:80, H 1: 160) . Her doctor has initially prescribed Ampoxyn fo Typhoid but later changed it to Zifi 200. She has further given Stemetil for Nausea. Are these drugs safe during pregnancy ?

Zifi or cefixime is safe during pregnancy. Stemetil or prochlorperazine safety is not established in pregnancy, please discuss with your doctor.
