My mother is suffering from a heart disease. Her one heart valve is shrunk. She was on medication from PGI Chandigarh. The doctors are advising her for the Balooning. Should she go ahead with balooning? She is right now having a problem of difficuly in breathing at times.

your details are vastly incomplete. I presume that she has a mitral stenosis - considering the fact that balooning has been recommended. from the few details that you have mentioned, she has breathlessness that is not responding to medicines. So she definitely needs intervention. If she is a candidate for balloning, then that is the best option. There are several medical factors to be taken into consideration before a decision on which intervention is the best. I am sure your cardiologist would be able to discuss the same with you.
